The Best President

This is the best political ad I have seen in the 30 years I've been able to vote. And to think it may have come from some kid in college (or high school even!!)!!!

Election Day, 2008

Today is October 26, 2008. That means there are 8 days to the disaster that will be the 2008 Presidential election. One of the most important elections in our nations history and one that I believe will prove to be the most disastrous.  For a variety of reasons, not the least of which includes the following:

  • A man, no, THE man that will ultimately be elected (IMHO) refuses to divulge many things about himself, his family, his past, immediately raising what should be serious questions that to this day remain unasked, much less unanswered. Why won't he release his medical and financial records? What about his "REAL" birth certificate?  I know... he says that the graphic image of a Hawaiian certificate of live birth is real. But it has since been classified by many as a forgery at worst or a cheap attempt at a forgery at best. So why, if "THE ONE" has nothing to hide, won't he release it?  Principle?  Gimme a break;

How to Steal Ohio

October 14, 2008

By Rick Moran
Imagine: It is the very early morning of November 5, 2008. Despite all the predictions and polls, John McCain and Barack Obama are locked in an extremely close race for President of the United States. McCain made a furious comeback over the previous 3 weeks following the last debate where Obama fumbled several answers while looking tired.

McCain's momentum propelled him back into the race and in a furious last minute charge that involved spending more than $25 million in combined campaign and Republican National Committee ad money that last weekend surged to within just a few points of Obama by Election Day.

Now, at 6:00 AM the following day, the race hangs on the results in just one state; Ohio.

McCain leads by nearly 50,000 votes but suddenly, Ohio's Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announces that several thousand McCain absentee ballots have been disqualified while additional thousands of votes in Cuyahoga County were "discovered" to have not been counted. After several more hours of confusion -- which included the discovery of more uncounted votes in heavily Democratic counties by the Secretary of State -- McCain's lead is gone and Obama is declared the winner of Ohio and the election.

Of Democrats and Voter Fraud

I found this article lying around my desktop, from the election of 2004. Looks like BHO's old friends haven't really changed their colors much. As in 2004, ACORN is currently being investigated in at least 14 states, in this election cycle.  Originally, this article was published on AmericanDaily.com and can still be found there. The country is gearing up for the very real possibility of the 2000 election fiasco replaying itself, but even worse. In that election between then-Governor George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore, what followed was 36 days of numerous court challenges, sensationalized rhetoric, and a weakening of the political process under the over-simplified and misleading mantra of "count every vote"-- regardless of circumstance.

By circumstance, I mean laws. The outlook of the two major political parties concerning elections and votes falls into two vastly different political ideologies.

Democrats, for the most part, feel that every vote should be counted, as anything less would be a theft of someone's civil rights. The "law" has become an afterthought--if not always in application, then certainly in spirit.

Republicans, by and large, want every vote counted as well, but within the law, as voting is considered a privilege as well as a legal right.

Both are compelling arguments that are presented before the public for due consideration.

The "Gimme" Patriot

Dad sent this to me today.  Very, VERY good.

In his words: "So much of it does make sense and gives food for thought."
